Sony Xperia Z to hit Indian market by March 2013
At Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013, Sony has unveiled its latest flagship smartphones Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia ZL. During the launch, Sony has informed that these devices will hit the Indian market soon. On the other hand, it has been reported that Sony Xepria Z is already available in the Japanese market and priced for 80,430 Yen sans contract.
In Japan, the device is available provided by operator NTT DoCoMo and is selling like hot cakes. Also, Sony Xepria Z had a long list of pre-booking. These lucky ones would be soon getting it delivered, while others have to wait for some time to get their hands on this device.
If rumours are to be believed then Xepria Z will be available in European market by the end of February and will be priced around 529 pounds without any contract. Also, Sony Mobile India has listed Sony Xperia ZL and Sony Xperia Z smartphones on their website, which are expected to hit the market by March 2013. However, currently there is information available about its pricing.
Take a quick look at some of the specs of Sony Xperia Z smartphone. The device comes with 5 inches LCD TFT touchscreen Reality display that offers a resolution of almost 1920×1080 pixels. It comes with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 to the display, which makes the visuals appear brighter and sharper. Some of the interesting features of the gadget include 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Xperia Z sports a primary camera of 13-megapixel and is powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The device is IP55 and IP57 certified, which makes it dust and water resistantant.
When you talk about design, Sony Xperia ZL is a variant of the Xperia Z, which sports few similar specifications however in smaller form factors.
