Samsung Star Deluxe Duos Announced: Low Cost Touch Screen Phone
Samsung has much more to offer apart from what it has so far launched in the market. The manufacturer has announced for a Dual SIM handset which is christened as Star Deluxe Duos. This phone can easily fit into your pocket and carries all basic features offered to Champ Neo Duos that already launched in the market.
Samsung Star Deluxe Duos cellphone will sport touch screen functionality and will be available for low cost. Expect this device to be available by the end of this quarter.
Now it seems that the trend of using alphanumeric keyboard has come to an end. Now the low cost handsets also come with capacitive touch displays. Similarly, this cellphone sports 3.5 inches TFT Capacitive touch screen at 165 ppi. The resolution is 320 by 480 pixels. No wonder, the display seems impressive even though the price is low.
The phone gets its power from a 312 MHz processor, likely to get MediaTek and carries 128 MB of RAM. The device is constructed of Samsung own operating system. So, what else can we expect other than BADA OS. It is also equipped with 3.2 megapixel camera, but lacks LED flash. It also lacks 3G support so a front facing camera is of no use. The phone will at least serve you with music and video players for entertainment. There is no confirmation regarding FM Radio. For storage, you have good option of using up to 32 GB microSD card.
For connectivity, the phone supports microUSB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, and 3.5 mm headset jack. For data, the phone supports GPRS and EDGE. A Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery is more than enough to give constant usage for the day. To serve the modern day gadgets, the phone comes integrated with social networking apps to keep the user stay connected online. Below given is the quick look at Samsung Star Deluxe Duos features –
