Samsung Galaxy Camera Price Reduced in India

Samsung is expanding its wings by working on digital Cameras these days. After winning the position of a top smartphone manufacturer in the world, the company is moving on to produce Galaxy Camera as well. And now news has it that the manufacturer has lowered down the price of its Galaxy Camera below Rs. 3,880 as compared to the actual launch price announced earlier.

Samsung has reduced the price of its Galaxy Camera in India. This camera was launched two months back in India. It is an Android-powered camera that comes for a price of Rs. 26,520 after reducing Rs. 3,880 from its launch. Samsung is offering a free battery charging kit with this device. Apart from all these, the camera features Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. It was announced in India during November 2012 for Rs. 29,990. The only rival of this Wi-Fi based camera is Nikon S800c which is priced at Rs. 20,950.

Samsung Galaxy Camera sports a 4.8-inch touch display and supports all apps that are available on Google Play marketplace. It is equipped with 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.  It gets its power from a 1,650mAh battery which seems to give a long run for the day. This gadget also supports SIM card for 3G where users can enjoy browsing internet on this or over Wi-Fi.

Samsung’s new product features a BSI CMOS sensor with digital and 21x optical zoom. Samsung has also incorporated features in this camera such as auto focus (centre, multi and Face Detection) and image stabilization. Despite all these, some unique features have also been added to this device which include Papar Artist, Dropbox, Instagram, Video Editor, Photo Wizard, S-Suggest, AllShare Play, and S-Voice.

Samsung has also announced Wi-Fi only variant of this Galaxy Camera which will be more affordable as compared to the 3G-based sibling. Still, the launch date and price is yet to announce. The company has also cut the pricing of its flagship smartphones Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III.
