Samsung announces 5-inch Galaxy Grand Phablet
After the success of Galaxy note 2, Samsung has announced one more mobile gadget called Galaxy Grand. It’s a phablet which runs on Android and will be a budget Smartphone. It is a single SIM phone but Samsung claims to launch a dual SIM phablet soon.
Samsung Galaxy Grand is a modulated version of Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but comes with a 5 inch display. The phone features a screen resolution of 800×400 pixels which differs from that of Note 2. Galaxy Grand comes with a dual core 1.2GHz clocked processor. The cameras it carry are of 8 megapixel (primary) and 2 megapixel (front-facing). It can also run on Android 4.1 in the company of TouchWiz Nature UX. The phone boasts S-Voice, Popup video allowing another small window while accessing other things simultaneously and has a Smart Alert feature.
For users who access Jelly Bean will be able to get the enhanced experience of Google features. It features Samsung add-ons for instance users can get multi view that can help in doing multitasking at the same time. Samsung has yet not disclosed the launch date and price.
