Nokia Asha 311 and Asha 305 launched at affordable price
Despite being dominated in the smartphone market for its Symbian operating system, Nokia has never stopped working hard and proving that it is still one of the best in India. The manufacturer has not given up on Android OS, but it rather preferred to go with Microsoft’s Windows operating system. And now after offering a series of Windows-based smartphones, Nokia has again launched another two new handsets for reasonable price. Both the handsets are under ‘Asha’ range.
Nokia Asha 305 and Nokia Asha 311 are the two cellphones that Nokia has launched lately. The best part about these gadgets is the integration of cloud accelerated Nokia browser through which you can expect a data to be compressed by around 85 percent. This browser ensures faster internet access and lower spending on data charges.
Not to forget, Nokia Asha series has got a lot of consumer response and so the manufacturer has decided to expand this family by launching some more devices with additional choices. Viral Oza, the Nokia India Director Marketing has said to the reporters that with the launch of Nokia Asha touch range, the company is strengthening their range of mobile internet devices.
There are total 10 devices launched under the Asha series worldwide. However, the company did not leak out how many Asha users are there in India, but Oza did say that as many as 2 million people use Facebook and other social networking sites via Asha handsets.
Asha 305 is available in the market for a price tag of Rs. 5,029 and Asha 311 will be released on August 12 for Rs. 7,139. Asha 311 sports 3.5G capacitive touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, 1 GHz processor, and pre-installed Nokia maps. On the other hand, Asha 305 is a dual-SIM handset that sports a 3-inch resistive touchscreen and comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. So, wait for the time when Nokia Asha 311 will be available on all the stores starting from August 12. Till then you can check out Asha 305 which is already available in the market.
