Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 and A2107: Prices and Specs Yet to Announce

A tough world is here for tablet computers and you cannot think of any excuses if you are launching a tablet without any specific reason to make it sell in the market. There are many manufacturer’s who provide good range of tablets with lots of good specs for consumers. In fact, there are several manufacturers who offer low cost or affordable devices for consumers. In this range, Lenovo has stepped in with two of its IdeaTab devices which are christened as A2109 and A2107.

Both the devices will challenge Google’s Nexus 7 which is priced for $199. Out of two tabs, the A2107 will get most of the attention with official Google-slate and 7-inch 720p screen. The device boasts an underpowered A9 processor, but the detailed specs are yet to come. However, the most attractive spec on this device is its integrated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system from Google. However, in this matter Google Nexus 7 wins as it gets Android Jelly Bean 4.1, the successor of Ice Cream Sandwich. However, Nexus 7 shows some jerks and lag in process due to Jelly Bean. So, in this matter, Ice Cream Sandwich based Lenovo IdeaTab can go well in the market. However, this does not make A2107 a premium product in the market.

Overall, The Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 gets pretty great feel physically and its chassis looks strong. The device gives soft touch and is gripped well. As compared to the A2109 model, IdeaTab A2107 is much soft and easy to hold without fear of getting slipped. A2109 model sports 9-inch screen and Tegra 3 processor which is more powerful than the 7-inch device. What is more interesting is its quadcore processor that makes the Ice Cream Sandwich run far smoothly that its smaller sibling can’t even imaging. For $299 you can expect to get the 9-inch Lenovo IdeaTab A2109, but the manufacturer is yet to confirm the price of both the devices.
