Lava Xolo X1000 launched – Fastest smartphone ever!

Xolo, a sub-brand of Lava mobiles recently launched their third Intel smartphone. The name of the phone is Xolo X1000 and it costs Rs. 19,999. It has first gen Intel Atom Z2480 processor inside also known as Medfield. Intel had released it in 2012. Unlike Xolo X900, the X1000 has 2GHz processor with hyperthread support  and it was first seen previously in Motorola Razr i made for UK customers.

The fast processing powers are complemented with a gig of RAM and PowerVR SGX 540 GPU inside. Intel says that this fastest cellphone ever. However, this Intel might not be able to hold on to this title for a long time with Snapdragon Qualcomm S4 Pro processors coming soon. That said, the chip is still very fast and performance is better than what you’d expect.

Lava Xolo X1000 comes with 4.7 inches curved edge to edge glass display having 720p resolutions with 314 ppi pixel density. The handset is also quite thin at just 9.1mm and the weight is 140 grams. This mobile phone has uni body design. Rear side has eight megapixels camera and on the front, there is 1.3 mp front facing shooter. Rear camera shoots pictures at 15 fps and it can also capture 1080p full HD videos.

Lava Xolo X1000 comes with eight gigabytes internal memory and there is also a microSD card slot for further expansion. The handset runs on 1,900mAh battery inside. Unfortunately, Lava Xolo X1000 runs on dated Android ICS OS. Lava should issue a Jelly Bean update soon.
