Lava unveils E-Tab Connect 3G Android tablet having voice calling priced at Rs. 9,499

Lava Mobiles recently announced one more tablet in their ETAB series. It is called Lava E-Tab Connect 3G and has a seven inches touchscreen with a WVGA resolution. It is a 3G capable tablet having Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich OS and has voice calling support over 3G.

There were a lot of rumours saying Lava was working on a new tablet and would launch it soon for price of under Rs. 10,000. Those rumours were all true with Lava launching the E-Tab Connect 3G for Rs. 9,499. This tablet has Snapdragon Qualcomm processor having 1GHz clock speed. This tablet also has 4GB internal storage and 512MB RAM. For photography, there is two megapixels rear facing camera with front facing VGA camera.

Lava E-Tab Connect 3G is powered by 3,000mAh battery and there are pre-installed apps on this device like Readwhere, Diamond Comics, Meritnation, Edukart, Bigflix, and Hungama. Lava has signed up with Meritnation for free content on Vedic maths. Apart from this, people who purchase this tablet get Rs. 750 discount on any package of Meritnation.com.

Lava E-Tab Connect 3G

Before this, Lava launched the ETAB Xtron, a seven inches tablet having dual core 1.5 GHz processor and 1GB RAM. This tablet has Android 4.1.1 aka Jelly Bean OS and the price is Rs. 6,499.

Lava ETAB XTRON comes with two megapixels front facing camera. There is eight gigabytes internal memory and there is microSD card for up to 32GB memory expansion. There is no 3G on this tablet and for connecting to Internet; there is just Wi-Fi. There is 3,500mAh battery inside this tablet and Lava says it has rated video play back run time of four hours.
