Lava launches three new entry-level Android phones under Rs 4,000
Lava recently launched three new entry level smartphones for the budget users. These phone releases are a part of BlockBuster Phoneday where this manufacturer announces new handsets every week. All three handsets are under Lava’s Iris brand name and are called Iris 355, Iris 351, and Iris 349.
These handsets come with a good feature set and yet quite basic. They are made for people who are buying a smartphone for first time and don’t want to spend a lot of money on them. All three phones have dual SIM capabilities and don’t have 3G support.
Lava Iris 349 - Lava Iris 349 come with three-and-half inches capacitive HVGA touchscreen having a 320×480 pixels resolution. Other features of this phone include 1 GHZ single core CPU, Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread OS, VGA front facing camera, two megapixels rear facing camera, 113 MB internal memory, microSD card slot, and 256 MB RAM. The memory card slot accepts up to 32GB of additional memory. This phone is powered by 1,400mAh battery inside and this phone also supports GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Lava Iris 351 - Lava Iris 351 too has HVGA three-and-half inches capacitive touchscreen having 320×480 pixels resolution. This handset runs on older Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread OS with 256 MB RAM and has 1 GHz single core CPU inside. There is two megapixels rear facing camera and no front facing camera. This phone has microSD card slot which supports up to 16GB of memory cards. Other features of this phone include GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and runs on 1,400mAh battery inside.
Lava Iris 355 - Lava Iris 355 has three-and-half inches capacitive touch screen display having 320×480 pixels resolution. This handset runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and has 256 MB RAM. There is VGA front facing camera, two megapixels rear facing camera, 1 GHz single core CPU, and microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32 GB. Lava Iris 355 is powered by 1,400mAh battery inside and other features of this phone include GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Lava says, they believe ‘everyone should have a smartphone’ and hence have released these budget priced handsets. The manufacturer says that these phones have low prices and yet give good smartphone experience to the users.
