Lava announces their first quad core smartphone – XOLO Q800
Rumors about Lava working on their first ever quad core smartphone were going on for long and they were finally confirmed with the launch of XOLO Q800. We spotted this phone listed on Flipkart.
Lava XOLO 800 has four-and-half inches capacitive IPS qHD screen having a resolution of 540×960 pixels and there is a quad core SGX544 PowerVR processor inside with 1 GB RAM. Other features include eight megapixels rear facing camera, 1.2 mega pixels front facing camera, 4 GB internal storage with microSD card slot for max 32GB memory expansion, and 2,100 mAh capacity battery.
Flipkart has listed this phone as ‘coming soon’ and they haven’t mentioned its availability date or price. We expect this phone to cost somewhere between Rs. 10-15k and will compete with phones like Micromax A116 Canvas HD.
