Karbonn Titanium S5 launched – quad-core phablet priced at Rs 11,990
Karbonn recently launched one more smartphone and is now available in the online markets all over India. Their latest handset is known as Karbonn Titanium S5 or Smart Titanium 5 and it has five inches qHD screen which makes it a phablet. Snapdeal has listed it for Rs. 11,990 and is promising to ship the phone in about twelve days. This means that they haven’t got it in their stocks yet.
Karbonn Titanium S5 comes with 1.2 Ghz quad core chip inside and we expect it to be the same as that on Micromax Canvas HD A116. Other features of this device include 2MP front facing camera, 1 GB RAM, 8MP rear facing camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Internal storage isn’t known but we expect it to be about four gigabytes like other Android phablets. There is dual SIM interface, microSD card slot for further memory expansion, and 2,000mAh battery inside.
Karbonn Titanium S5 will compete with Micromax Canvas HD A116. Both devices have identical hardware inside except for the lower resolution display and lower price on S5.
Micromax is struggling to meet the growing demand for A116, it is out of stock now and if you are looking for alternatives, then get the S5 Titanium.
Smart Titanium 5 is the successor to Smart Titanium 1 which was launched by Karbonn some time ago. The S1 costs Rs. 10,990 and it has 1.2 GHZ Snapdragon Qualcomm quad core chip, 1 GB RAM, four and half inches qHD screen wih 960×540 pixels resolution, Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean OS, and 4GB internal memory.
