iPhone 5 Runs Short in India
With so much of excitement and craze for the new iPhone 5, the Indian market is facing shortness in the quantity of this demanding product. After the initial supply runs out, the phone has been found short in supply since it came on November 2.
Though earlier the response was not really expected this great, but slowly it has been identified that Apple iPhone 5 has turned out as the best-received iPhone in India. As per the reports, between 10,000 to 15,000 units were shipped in this country and the now the entire lot is reported to be sold out.
The report further explained that the increasing demand for iPhone 5 has been echoed by Aircel that sold its stock in two days and Airtel reported 78 percent jump in pre-orders than what it was seen for iPhone 4S. Thing is, this new phone cost similar to the price of iPhone 4S when it was launched. So, it’s already a surprise for many consumers who love to carrry Apple’s handsets. Next to this, the other strong factor for the quick sales of this device is its distribution processes where Aircel, Airtel and even third party retailers joined hands to sell the product. According to the retailers, the inefficiency of mobile operators led to the suffering of retail sales.
Now for some time, buyers have to wait until the phone is shipped to the country.
