iPhone 5 might be unveiled on October 4, 2011
Several rumors on the internet hint that the Apple might launch iPhone 5 by the end of this month, or early September. Here is another hint. All Things D have mentioned that the company might unveil the new smartphone on October 4, 2011. While this piece of information cannot be called as ‘news’, it still seems to be close to truth, especially after considering the fact that Deutsche Telekom has already started accepting preorders.
However, Apple is yet to officially confirm it. But if the smartphone is to be released on October 4, we can expect the announcement anytime now. Besides, we now have a fair idea about what to expect from the phone. iPhone 5 might have an 8MP camera, along with some really cool features like quick launch through lock screen, rule of thirds overlay, etc. It would have A5 processor, which is already being used in iPad 2. The screen too is expected to be bigger than that of iPhone 4.
Further it is likely to have wireless synchronization with other Apple devices like iPad and Macbook. This will help to transfer all the files very easily and quickly from one Apple device to another. This iCloud sync is likely to replace the existing MobileMe feature.
However, the release date and the expected features are not officially announced by any Apple employee. These are the updates we have received so far from the vendors and other sources. To get the facts, we will have to wait till October 4 or the actual launch date.
