Google retains the best employer crown
Branding company Universum recently reported that Google is the most preferable employer in the world for majority of the people surveyed across top 12 economies.
This has been the third consecutive year for Google on the top. While Apple has been considered to be very innovative, it still remains to be on the ninth position, and Microsoft is at sixth for business professionals. However, these companies have fared well when engineers expressed their opinions. Other big IT companies that appear in the top-50 list are IBM, Nokia, Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc.
One of the chief reasons why Google has been chosen as the best place to work is its working environment. Most people are aware about the comfortable and flexible working conditions it offers. While learning is important at workplace, it is equally important to relax, rejuvenate, and recreate yourself at work. Google’s offices worldwide are known for its creative culture and home-like working environment. Most people surveyed are of the opinion that the best employer might help you achieve work-life balance.
The report also points out that majority of the companies among the top-50 list are American companies, and are IT companies.
