Expect Apple iPhone 5 Pre-Orders to Begin from September 12
Apple will start taking pre-orders for the highly advanced iPhone in its family starting from September 12. It is expected that the manufacturer would roll out its next generation iPhone 5 on the same day – September 12 as mentioned in a blog post on iMore.
The website also mentions that the shipment of iPhone 5 would commence just after 9 days starting from September 12. It has also been said that the buyers from international market would be able to book this phone in the first week of next month that is most likely from October 5.
However, one thing that seems bizarre is the pre-order strategy that Apple has never taken for its earlier devices so early after the launch. It was just the Cupertino-based tech giant that was started iPhone 4S bookings just after three days of this gadget’s unveil in the market.
As far as the fifth generation iPhone is concerned, the Apple iPhone 5, it could shed more weight and become the slimmest of all the iPhones. If the news is true then expect the product to be readily available for sales in holiday season. If it has to be confirmed, one thing that can be considered is the continuous rumors in past few months where leaked images of the device were showed. The device is likely to be available with repositioned headphone jack, small dock connector, larger screen, and Face Time camera.
Apple’s rival Samsung is all set to host an event of its own called Samsung Unpacked which is scheduled on August 29 where the company will showcase its newly upgraded Samsung Galaxy Note 2. To participate in this market competition, Sony will also launch its new flagship device named Xperia TX on the same date – August 29.
