Apple announces iPad 4 128GB starting at 49,000; to come in stores on Feb 5

Apple recently announced 128GB model of their Apple iPad 4 with Retina display. This large storage capacity model will be available in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + cellular model. Previously, this device was available in 64GB models but the storage capacity is doubled in the newer model.

Apple iPad 4 128GB models will come in Indian markets by 5th of February and it will be available in white and black color options. The Wi-Fi only model will cost Rs. 49,000 and the WiFi + cellular model will cost Rs. 56,900. Both models will be available through authorized Apple Resellers.

Fourth gen Apple iPad was instantly popular in the market. It has 9.7 inches Retina display, A6x chip, Face Time HD camera, with iOS 6.1. The latter has support for LTE networks and the iTunes Match subscribers get to download songs to their gadgets from iCloud.

According to Apple, iOS 6.1 lets the subscribers’ access network of LTE of 36 different iPhone carriers. Internationally, this includes popular carriers in Denmark, Italy, Croatia, Finland, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Portugal.

The newer iOS 6 comes with features like Siri and it has support for more languages too. It also gives easy access for sports scores, movie listings and restaurant recommendations, Maps along with Apple cartography, Facebook integration for Calendar and Contacts, turn by turn navigation with Fly over view, ability for posting from Notification Center, Facebook apps, and Siri directly. There is also PassBook which contains all the passes in a single place.

App Store has more than 800,000 apps for Apple devices and it features over 300,000 apps made especially for Apple iPad.
