Acer Iconia B1 Tablet May get Android Jelly Bean: Price Rs 7,999

Acer to launch an Android Jelly Bean based Tablet in the Indian tablet market that will cost just Rs. 7,999. The tablet has been christened as Iconia B1 with a code name A71. After some rumors, now the news has it that Acer will officially release this tablet in 2013 for budget customers. We are still unaware of the specs, but the only thing we have so far got to know is the Android Jelly Bean operating system that Acer managed to offer in such low cost device.

As per the rumors we heard earlier, this tablet may feature a 7-inch display with a screen resolution of 1024 by 600, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system, PowerVR SGX 531 GPU, and Wi-Fi connectivity. However, this is not cellular which users may ask for. Yet, none of these specs are valid until final official announcement is made, but it is expected to roll out by January end or February first week.
