Asus Padfone Review

Asus Padfone concept is quite unique and interesting. The phone is docked into a bigger tablet-like frame. However, the dock acts as a larger screen only. Moreover, it works as a battery life extender as well. The phone manages all the connectivity and computing options. There are various up and down sides to its configuration. However, if you are looking at the positive side – having one dock and one phone is comparatively cheaper, other than buying two separate devices.

One of the most attractive features of the Asus Padfone is its one data plan. The user has to use only one data plan and SIM card with a carrier, which will allow both the devices to work. This is cost effective, as it provides mobile connectivity to the tablet. The padfone offers excellent flexibility. It has been designed with a modular approach

Cons of Asus Padfone:

Asus Padfone is high priced, and this could be one of the most important reasons that users would think twice before buying it. There are chances that the padfone would experience carrier interferences.

Final thoughts :

The Padfone is one of the most-awaited gadgets and would be released in April. It will definitely receive warm welcome by few people; however we doubt that it will become a mass product. The product is well executed; however the idea of inserting the mobile phone in the tablet every time you plan to use a tablet is definitely not trilling.
