It has been few days that Sony has ventured into phone manufacturing; however it has managed to introduce some of the most impressive lineup of mobile phones. Finally, with Sony Xperia U, the manufacturer has introduced its cheapest range of handset.

The Sony Xperia U is packed with a 3.5 inches LED backlit display. The smartphone boosts LCD capacitive touch screen display. The touch screen has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The dimensions of the smartphone are 112 mm x 54 mm x 12 mm, while its weight is 110 grams.

The Sony Xperia U is powered by a standard Li-Ion battery of 1320 mAh, which boosts a talk time of 6 h 36 min on 2G network and 5 h 36 min on 3G network. The stand by time of the handset on 3G is 472 hours, while 2G network is 260 hours.
