Hardware :

The phone has got 8GB internal memory with a microSD card slot. The expandable memory can go up to 32GB and the device comes Motorola Atrix 2 Specswith a 1GB of RAM. Motorola Atrix 2 features a display of 4.3 inch and provides fine image through its impressive 960×540 pixel resolution (1080p resolution on HDTV). The device uses AT&T network for 4G light connectivity of around 21Mbps. Loads of accessories are offered with this phone. A dock comes with this phone to charge the device as well as connect it to the HDTV or LCD screen. Car mounts are also available use to the device just like a GPS. Battery chargers, extra cables and a full laptop dock with a keyboard and screen are all available for this all new Atrix 2.

Software :

Motorola Atrix 2 comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and allows the users to copy and paste text more easily. The AT&T carrier has made incredible collection of its pre-installed apps. The hub used for this device enables users to purchase songs, ringtones and albums. At the front page of the hub, you’ll find top releases, but you can easily search for any type of tunes you are looking for. The FM Radio can be accessed through the build-in music player of the device. This new phone also supports in-pocket detection just like the Atrix 4G.

One of its major twists is its 8 megapixel camera which becomes standard on all the latest and hottest Android phones. Well, the major changes which has been done from the original Atrix phone is the improved resolution of camera which was earlier set at 5 megapixel. Its 1080p HD video capture is worth exploring with all the simple features such as brightness adjust, geotag, macro focus, scene modes, panorama mode and others. The phone also boasts a secondary VGA camera for video calling.

Performance and Battery :

The original Motorola Atrix used to run on 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 CPU whereas; the new device successfully runs on the NVIDIA chip for a TI OMAP 4430, providing same clock speed. Considering the battery life, this new phone functions better and lasts for five hours and ten minutes while the standard video runs. The phone’s GPS can be tracked swiftly without any hassle and the audio playback is simply amazing.
