LG Optimus L7 Review

The LG Optimus L7 was first introduced in February in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress 2012, and now it has been released in the UK. You can purchase it from various online stores such as Phones 4u, Amazon, O2, Tesco, Littlewoods, Comet, Three, etc. On the other hand, unfortunately most of the online suppliers are currently out of stock.

LG has taken extra efforts to work on the design of this smartphone. Initially, there was a very stylish Prada Phone 3.0, followed by the stunning L series of handsets. Introduced much later was the LG Optimus L3, which in spite being a budget-price smartphone, boasted an attractive chassis. In addition to this, the latest entrant in the market is the big brother of the LG L-series is the amazing Optimus L7. This powerful smartphone is packed with a larger display and good-looking mobile phone.

LG Optimus L7 Battery power

Unfortunately, the battery of Optimus L7doesn’t last that long. Although you use very lightly in power-saving mode, it will knock out in almost 24 hours. Moreover, if you are planning to listen to tunes, mess around with apps or stream video, you should be prepared to carry the mobile charger with you.

LG Optimus L7 Performance :

Powered by a single-core chip, LG Optimus L7 is not always up to the task. It operates on Ice Cream Sandwich. You can use it for surfing the net. On the other hand it cannot compete with the future-proofing that are normally provided by a dual-core processor.

LG Optimus L7 works on android Ice Cream Sandwich platform, which is delightful in use. In addition to this, it offers various opportunities for customization. The manufacturer has added few nice touches, which includes power controlthat is placed within the notifications bar. Moreover, the 4.3inches display is quite roomy as well as bright; however it is not that sharp.

Cons of LG Optimus L7 :

The smartphone is packed with low screen resolution. In addition to this, the specs don’t push any boundaries

The Verdict :

The LG Optimus L7 is one of the nicely designed handsets but it fails to have an allure of the major competitors. The smartphone has a colourful display; but it doesn’t show details that are offered by the Xperia S and One X screens. The handset is packed with five-megapixel snapper that offers decent performance. On the other hand the smartphone lacks various wonderful features that are offered by HTC. Luckily, the single-core 4 chip can manage its working on Ice Cream Sandwich. However, it doesn’t offer any future-proofing. Now talking about last but not least factor, battery life, which is quite disappointing.
